The President of the Fifth Criminal Chamber of the Court of First Instance in Tunisia adjourned the trial session held this morning, Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in the case of the assassination of Chokri Belaid, to negotiate and announce the verdict.
The court had formerly heard the defendants’ requests, which varied from “a ruling based on responsibility in the case,” “not hearing the case,” and “acquittal.”
