The broad outlines of the national green hydrogen strategy were delivered today at a workshop organized jointly between the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines and GIZ.
Tunisia’s green hydrogen strategy plans to produce 8.3 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2050, develop energy infrastructure, and strengthen the use of green hydrogen in industrial activities, transport and electricity production.
As a reminder, hydrogen made from a water electrolysis process is stated to be green if it is made from renewable electricity.
