Tunisia announced one new imported cases of COVID-19 on June 20, 2020, bringing the total number of contaminations to 1157.
The ministry said in a statement, “Following a total of 1530 lab tests,4 cases tested positive, of which 1 is newly Imported infections and 3 previous cases”.As such, the number of confirmed cases surged to 1157, out of 67045 screening tests performed since the first cases were identified last March.
The number of recoveries rose to 1020 with 87 patients still virus-carriers and kept in observation. The death toll stands at 50.
