Tunis Survey, a leading expert in online surveys and digital studies, has just released the results of its latest inquiry on “Tunisians and COVID-19 vaccine ”
This survey ranking is based on a self-administered online survey that was conducted from February 25 to March 9 2021. It aims to understand the attitude of Tunisian toward the COVID-19 vaccine.
For this survey, the sample size after the screening is 1826 respondents.
Tunisians not so well informed on vaccines?
When inquired, “Do you feel well informed about COVID-19 vaccines?”, Just 46% of respondents felt they are well informed. More than half of respondents, or 54%, maintain they are poorly informed.
There is no significant distinction between men and women or between age groups.
To be vaccinated or not: An uncertain majority
39% of respondents declared they will be vaccinated against COVID-19-.
36% of respondents are not going to obtain the vaccine while 25% do not yet know if they are going to be vaccinated.
Men & Women, opposing opinions:
46% of men say they desire to be vaccinated as opposed to 26% of women.
45% of women say they will not get the vaccine compared to 31% of men.
“Under 49s” and the “50s and over”: between Yes and No
The “Under 49” category are against vaccination, 39.45% state they do not want to be vaccinated and 26.53% still do not know what to do.
Among 49.94% of those who say they want to be vaccinated are 49.94% and 23.43% who are still uncertain whether they are going to do it or not.
Pfizer-BioNTech and Sputnik V,most popular
Responding to the question, “If you are going to get the vaccine and you have a choice, which COVID vaccine will you pick ?” The respondents chose:
- 54% Pfizer-BioNTech
- 24% Sputnik V
- AstraZeneca / Oxford 10%
- Moderna: 9%
- Sinopharm :3%.
A shy enrolment at EVAX platform:
Barely 41% of respondents state they have registered in the EVAX vaccination platform.
The largest number of registrations is for those aged 60 and over, with 60.4% saying they registered with EVAX.
