The Global Firepower’s Military Strength Index has ranked Morocco’s Tunisia military strength. For 2020, the North African country is ranked 81 out of the 138 countries considered for annual review.It holds a PwrIndx rating of 1.4619 (0.0000 considered ‘perfect’).
Global Firepower considers 50 individual factors to assess the strength of each country’s army, which are all placed under the sectors of manpower, airpower, land forces, naval forces, natural resources, natural resources, logistics, financials and geography.
The Egyptian army have ranked ninthn the annual index of Global Firepower,Algeria placed Algeria 28th.
In the Maghreb region, Morocco is second behind Algeria and ahead of Tunisia 78th, Libya 80th and Mauritania 128th.
In 2020’s ranking, the United States maintained its position as top military power, followed by Russia, and China in the second and third places consecutively.
India came in fourth place globally and second in Asia, followed by Japan, and South Korea. In regard to European powers, France came in seventh place, and as the top European military, followed by the United Kingdom in eighth place.
