Tunisia-Tunisian Society of Astronomy confirms position rejecting astrology and predictions [video]

Vice President of the Tunisian Society of Astronomy Hisham Yahya reiterated the position of astronomers rejecting astrology and predictions which has been clear since ancient times, as they consider it to be baseless.

In a statement to Tunisie Numérique, he stressed that the association does not consider astrology a true science, but rather it is tantamount to exploiting the positions of the stars and celestial bodies to forecast future things, some of which are specific to human life, while astronomy is an independent science taught in prominent international universities.

Our speaker reiterated that the stars and spheres that astrologers rely on in their predictions cannot impact the lives of people and that some predictions that sometimes come true are purely coincidental and nothing more.

Regarding Laila Eid al-Latif’s latest predictions for 2024, our interlocutor believed that this had nothing to do with astrology, and the events that she predicted might occur and might not happen, referring to what was circulated regarding her intelligence information, and our interlocutor went on to say that “the astrologers lied even if they told the truth.”

As a reminder, forecaster Leila Abdel Latif anticipated a lot of sadness and anxiety for Tunisia. She said that the new year will witness many crises and unfortunate events in the Tunisian country.
