Tunisia-Two national baccalaureate laureates denied scholarships to study abroad

Young graduates, in particular, the winner at the national level, for the literary and Technical Sciences baccalaureates have been denied the scholarship to study abroad.
Of the seven winners, two received a simple text message rejecting the scholarship for study abroad. No reason was given to them, apart from the mention of the reason for “insufficient score”.
In a statement relayed by the media, the winner at the national level, for the literary and Technical Sciences baccalaureate indicated, meeting the Ministers of Education and the Minister of Higher Education and confirmed to them their right to the said scholarships, except that the proclaimed result was quite the reverse of expectations and promises.
It should be noted that the scholarship is given on the basis of a score and not on the basis of the national average. This case reopens the debate about the standards for awarding such scholarships, in particular, for the specific case of students who have received the best national averages.
