U.S Ambassador Donald Blome met with Prime Minister Najla Bouden Romdhane yesterday and reiterated strong support for the longstanding partnership between Tunisia and the United States, and for the aspirations of the Tunisian people for an effective, democratic, and transparent government that protects rights and freedoms.
The Ambassador stressed the importance of ensuring a broadly inclusive and transparent political consultation process going forward and expressed support for economic reforms that will promote growth and job creation for the Tunisian people.
