Tunisia- UGTT condemns operation of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem

The General Tunisian Labor Union (UGTT) yesterday denounced the operation of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem, declaring it was a crime of ethnic cleansing.

The union denounced the silence of the majority of Arab states over the eviction of Palestinian families residing in Sheikh Jarrah.

It believed that the normalization of some Arab nations with the Zionist entity has led to an escalation of violence committed against the Palestinian people.

Reemphasizing its support and solidarity with the Palestinian people, the trade union called on all democratic and trade union forces around the world to mobilize to stop the Zionist attacks and shield the Palestinian people from the policy of ethnic cleansing exercised by the Zionist entity.

The UGTT further requested the enactment of a law criminalizing normalization with the Zionist entity.
