Mongi Slim, the head of the Red Crescent in the Medénine region affirmed in an official declaration to Tunisie Numéruqie that the current situation in Libya does not currently require the escape of refugees to Tunisia, indicating that around 700 cars enter Dehiba-Wazen crossing borders.
Most Libyans that promptly entered the Tunisian soil didn’t request any needed help, said Slim pointing out that they sought Tunisia for normal reasons.He added the Movement on borders was limited to the entry of goods.
The Tunisian authorities, in coordination with international organizations working in the area of assistance to migrants and refugees, have put in place an emergency plan to receive displaced people to Tunisia, in case the situation deteriorates further in Libya, affirmed Slim.
