Ennahdha MP Said Ferjani pointed out that those who scrutinise the movement need explicitly declare how it committed violations, believing that these criticisms are only political accusations.
Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, the MP stressed that the parties behind this denigration are those who did not admit the collapse of Fakhfekh government. In this sense, he indicated that the Democratic Current alleges that it fights against corruption when it is itself corrupt and that it claims to protect democracy when it is not a democrat.
Ferjani attacked the Minister of Civil Service, Governance and the Fight against Corruption, Mohamed Abbou calling him as “Nadia Akakcha’s little hand”, adding that he covered the former head of government involved in corruption cases.
