The regional commission for the fight against disasters today held an emergency meeting to examine the deteriorating health situation in the region.
The members of the committee affirmed the rapid rise in the number of infections.
According to the same source, 1,109 infections were identified in Kalâa Seghira, 679 in Ennfdiha, 609 in Erriadh city, 715 in Kondar and 560 in Msaken, for 100,000 inhabitants.
“Young people are currently admitted to intensive care because of the Coronavirus,” they said.
Warning of the lack of medical personnel, the regional commission announced the recording of 5 infections with the Indian variant.
