Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Independent MP Zied Ladhari described the financial situation in Tunisia as extremely dangerous, adding that the nation is seeing an unparalleled crisis that has negatively hit the poor and low-income class, and even small and medium enterprises.
Our speaker stressed the need for the state to support these groups and operate to provide new self-resources to save the economic fabric from collapse. On the other hand, he stated that amending the 2020 Finance Law is below the required level, and accordingly the government withdrew it.
Commenting on merging the ministries of Employment and sport, he described the move as very unfortunate, particularly since the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment was an independent and structured ministry, and this ministry has become today very significant with the loss of a number of jobs adding that the government should review this decision.
