In an executive interview with “Tunisie Numérique” Zouhaier Maghzaoui secretary-general of People’s Movement, asserted to have met President Kais Saied on two occasions, the first in his home before he took the oath where the two candidly discussed the country critical economic situation and the necessity to implement electoral promises.
The second meeting occurred at Carthage palace where he properly presented the president with People’s Movement vision on the next government.
Regarding the Head of government, he concluded it was a mere suggestion to get the county out of its situation and by no mean, it means a constitutional violation. He exclaimed that the president succeeded in obtaining the majority of votes in the second round which in return provide him with the democratic legitimacy to address the people in the next phase.
