Zouhaier Maghzaoui secretary-general of People’s Movement displayed his party condemnation of smear campaigns targeting the Tunisian General Labour Union which is considered as one of the country’ main pillars.
On the reality of liberties, he commented that social platforms are used to defame and target journalists and the union which is handheld by the Islamic party.
He further stressed that freedom of press and media is fundamental, hence it cannot be touched nor tampered.
