British Foreign Secretary David Cameron announced on Friday that the United Kingdom will open a maritime corridor to facilitate the supply of humanitarian aid to Gaza together with the United States and other partners. Yesterday, US President Joe Biden said the US will build a temporary pier off the coast of Gaza to unload food, water, and other emergency supplies.
“We continue to urge Israel to allow more trucks into Gaza as the fastest way to get aid to those who need it,” Cameron said, stressing that the civilians in the Gaza Strip are in “desperate humanitarian need.”
