United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini insisted on Friday that “the carnage simply must stop” in Gaza. “The present course chosen by the Israeli authorities will not bring the peace and stability that both Israelis and Palestinians want and deserve,” he added.
The death toll in Gaza has exceeded 10,000, including over 4,000 children, with over 26,000 injured.
