The United States reached a new record after at least 53,069 people tested positive for the COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, which takes the nation’s total to 2,735,339, According to Johns Hopkins University.
The death toll from the virus reached 128,677 after reporting 649 new deaths. In the meantime, the number of recoveries from the disease reached a total of 822,021.
