Bad news for Tunisian and world tennis fans! After competing in the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha, Ons Jabeur has just revealed on her Instagram account that she has withdrawn from the Emirati WTA 1000 in Dubai (here), following her knee injury.
She will miss the WTA 1000 in Dubai for the second successive season. Her substitute is the Spaniard Cristina Bucșa against the Russian Anna Kalinskaya in the 1/16 finals. Hoping that this injury is not too serious for the 7th in the world who has around two weeks to recover before the beginning of the American tournament in Indian Wells, from Friday, March 15, 2024.
