5.1-magnitude earthquake hits Taiwan’s Hualien City

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake was recorded on Thursday in the Taiwanese city of Hualien, according to the data provided by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The tremor’s epicenter reportedly struck at a depth of 10 kilometers, striking 25 kilometers away from the city, which is home to around 350,000 people. As of now, there are no reports of any damages.
