President of the republic Kaïs Saïed, welcomed the president of the Provisional Superior Council of Magistracy,
The purpose of this meeting is to examine a certain number of questions, including in particular the annual movement of judges and the independence of the judicial function.
The Head of State has underscored the necessity to define carefully and precision of the “objective criteria” which apply to all, reaffirming the imperative that the judicial function is exerted in full and whole “independence”.
President Saïed hailed the work accomplished by the Council in the overhaul of training programs at the Higher Institute of Magistracy in order to improve the performance of the courts in the years to come.
