President of the Jewish Community in Djerba Perez Trabelsi,Wednesday, underlined that the situation is under control on the island of Djerba.
Trabelsi commended the efforts of the security units, adding that they cordoned off the vicinity of the Ghriba and protected visitors.
The Interior Ministry announced that an officer of the Navel National Guard of Aghir, Djerba shot down his colleague and seized his ammunition before making his way to the Ghriba Synagogue.
