Tunisia-PM Mechichi meets with ambassadors of Germany, Portugal and Belgium

Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi welcomed Tuesday the German ambassador to Tunisia, Peter Prügel at Government Palace in the Kasbah.
The meeting concentrated on bilateral cooperation, especially in the areas of economics, security and science, announced a statement by the Prime Ministry.
Stress was placed on approaches to foster collaboration between the two countries to extend it to other sectors amid the economic and health hurdles linked to the COVID-19 pandemic, added the same source.
Mechichi embraced the high level of the Tunisian-German cooperation, asserting the willingness to further strengthen it.
The Prime Minister additionally met on Tuesday with Portuguese ambassador in Tunis José Frederico Ludovice, who came to pay him a parting visit at the conclusion of his mission to Tunisia.
The Portuguese ambassador emphasised the two countries’ willingness to boost cooperation in various fields.
Furthermore, Hichem Mechichi received Tuesday at the Government Palace in the Kasbah Belgian ambassador to Tunisia Christophe de Bassompierre.
The meeting reviewed ways to intensify security and economic cooperation between the two countries to meet the financial challenges facing them, said a statement from the Prime Ministry.
