China’s National Health Commission affirmed on Monday the World Health Organization’s (WHO) team tasked with tracing the origins of the coronavirus pandemic would land in the country on January 14.
The international agency agreed to assign its unit to China after many officials, including United States President Donald Trump and State Secretary Mike Pompeo, criticized that country’s response following the outbreak of COVID-19 in Wuhan.
