After his visit to the Governorate of Beja, Minister of Health Faouzi Mehdi declared that urgent resolutions must be located to deal with the worsening epidemiological situation in the region.
Mehdi pointed out that the construction works of the Medjez El Beb hospital need to be finalized as soon as possible to be able to take care of COVID-19 patients.
According to him, many problems confronting health professionals need to be addressed.
Declaring that hospitals in the region will receive 9 ambulances, Faouzi Mehdi stated that the level of alert in Beja is very high. He said that vaccination operations will be enhanced upon receipt of new doses of the vaccine.
Mehdi also reported that anaesthetists and resuscitators will join health professionals in the region.
