The President of the Republic, Kais Saied met yesterday the president of the Superior Council of the Magistracy (CSM) Youssef Bouzakher at Carthage palace..
During the meeting, the head of state said that the battle against corruption requires above all the founding of impartial and independent justice. Kais Saied added that some corrupt people have infiltrated the courts, denouncing the prosecution’s inaction on the matter.
In the same context, he called for the necessity to prosecute anyone implicated in corruption cases in order to fulfil the legitimate aspirations of the people.
