The Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release that Algeria wishes to respect its commitments for the supply of gas to Spain. The statement affirmed that Spanish companies are anticipated to respect initialled contracts.
The statement also questioned the reply and the response of the European Union following the outbreak of the crisis between the two nations without referring to a consultation with the Algerian government.
