The President of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections, Farouk Bouasker, affirmed on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, that 267,884 voters for (94.60%) the project and 148,723 voted against (5.40%).
The announcement of the final results after examination of the appeals will take place at the ending of next August. The president of the ISIE confirmed that the referendum took place under good conditions despite trying to put pressure on the members of the Council. The number of national and foreign observers amounts to 5800 and more than 1100 accredited reporters covered the electoral process.
