Senegal overpowered Tanzania (2-0) in the opening of Group C of the 2019 African Cup of Nations. Inter Milan striker Keita Balde secured the first victory goal in the 28th minute. Winning strikes continued for the team when Krepin Diatta scored in the 64th minute. With this win, Senegal topped Group C with three points.
Group C second match will be between Algeria and Kenya on Sunday.
