The United Kingdom prime minister Boris Johnson is self-isolating after NHS Test and Trace notified him he had been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Mr Johnson previously tested positive for COVID-19, requiring him to be placed in the ICU unit. He made a full recovery since then.
