A magnitude 7 earthquake whose epicentre is located between Marrakech and Agadir shook at 11:10 p.m. several cities in Morocco, according to the U.S Geological Survey Institute (USGS).
The earthquake pushed numerous people into the streets of Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir… Telephone lines were disrupted.
A second tremor of 4.9 was registered northeast of Taroudant around 11:30 p.m.
