Following the mine explosion in Hassi El Ferid that injured a 14-year-old child, the Minister of Women, Families, and Children issued orders for the regional women’s delegation in Kasserine to take charge of the victim. An intervention plan has been set to provide psychological and social support to the victim, his three brothers, and his parents. The plan furthermore has consultations to generate income for the family, considering the family’s desires and the region’s specificity. Additionally, the delegation will facilitate the inclusion of the children in ministerial programs to deliver financial, educational, and social support starting next year. This aims to ensure their academic stability and safeguard their best interests.
