In a statement released on Monday, Ennahdha Movement announced the arrest of its leader Rached Ghannouchi, adding that his house was searched “without respecting legal procedures.”
The party denounced the arrest of its leader, calling for “his immediate release.”
On the other hand, Ennahdha party called on “all free forces in the country to stand firm against these repressive practices and defend rights and freedoms,” the same source adds.
