The European Union will be sanctioning individuals who organized referendum votes in four Ukrainian regions, which are currently under Russian control, European Commission spokesperson Peter Stano stated on Tuesday at a press briefing.
“There will be consequences for all the people who took part in the organization of these illegal, illegitimate referendums and who supported them,” Stano underlined.
