European Union Member States approved on Monday the European Commission’s proposal to send financial aid of €1.2 billion to Ukraine.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen shared on her social media that “the first tranche will be disbursed soon, to help Ukraine in these difficult times.”
European Commission further added that the financial assistance will “strengthen [Ukraine’s] resilience.
