On his Twitter account, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin declared on Wednesday, December 2, “massive and unprecedented action against separatism”.
Under the decision, 76 mosques are endangered of being shut down over the following few days. The French minister has previously given instructions for the control of these mosques, and the authorities will not hesitate to close those which should be, according to the same Tweet
