Sad news for senior men’s handball, a few weeks before the AFCON in Egypt. TN Sport has learned that the international centre-half of the German GWD Minden, Amine Darmoul, sustained a broken leg requiring surgery and a somewhat prolonged rest, therefore threatening his participation with the Carthage Eagles in the Egyptian lands.
According to Dr Mondher Mbarek, the national medical staff is in touch with their German counterpart for more coordination on this surgical intervention, the rest period and the required treatment.
