How much time do Tunisians spend on internet and when?

“50.7% of the 75% of Tunisians who use the Internet mainly via smartphones spend more than three hours per day on the Internet, 31.8% spend between one hour and three hours and 16.5% do not surpass one hour on the Internet”, this is what arises from a survey on Digital Usage in Tunisia in 2023.

Whatever their age and level of education, Tunisians have employed the internet in almost all places (cafes, restaurants, gardens, beaches, means of transport, in the car, at work, etc.), but the house stays , for men and women, the preferred place to use the internet and few Tunisians use the internet in sports halls, stadiums and games rooms.

Figures on the frequency of internet use indicate that the majority of Tunisians use the internet more than three times a day. According to the results of the same survey, just 2.4% of Tunisians connect to the internet before 8 a.m. This rate increases from 2 p.m., but the ideal time for surfing the internet is in the evening between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. and after.
