Hurricane Dorian ravaged the northern Bahamas, Some 13,000 houses are feared to be damaged or ruined, according to the International Red Cross.
The storm sustained winds of up to 165mph (270km/) and was graded to a Category 5. “Devastation is unprecedented”, said Bahamas Prime Minister Hubert Minnis
The hurricane will head close to Florida’s east coast tonight the Miami-based National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory.
