Good news from the Algerian side! In support of the Palestinian people, the Algerian Football Federation FAF officially disclosed the “suspension of all football events this weekend until further notice” in “solidarity with the Palestinian people”.
Therefore, the matches of the League 1 and League 2 championships and those of the lower divisions are delayed to a later date.
As a reminder, the umbrella body of Algerian football had already shown its solidarity on October 15 by declaring its decision to host Palestine’s matches for the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup.
