Libyan National Oil Corporation declares state of force majeure in Sharara oil field

The National Oil Corporation of Libya declared a state of force majeure in the Sharara oil field due to protests.

A state of force majeure will apply as of Sunday in the field, which can make up to 300,000 barrels per day of oil.

The company stated in a statement that negotiations are continuing to resume production as soon as possible.
