An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit Hakkari in eastern Turkey on Sunday morning. Local authorities have not revealed whether the earthquake caused human or material losses.
Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, AFAD, reported that the earthquake occurred at 7:36 a.m. at a depth of 5.74 kilometres and its epicentre was in the Yuksak Ufa district.
