Former workers of the Meknassy phosphate mine (governorate of Sidi Bouzid) burned tires and blocked road No. 14 connecting the governorates of Gafsa and Sfax demanding the regularization of their professional situations. They argue their integration into the Gafsa Phosphate Company. The protesters continue to stop the passage of phosphate transport trucks from the Gafsa mining basin to Sfax, Tunisie Numérique’s correspondent reported.
