Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley announced Wednesday her official withdrawal from the presidential race. Her decision comes on the day after Super Tuesday, in which she only won Vermont among the 15 states in which Republican contests were held.
She emphasized the necessity of a smaller federal government for freedom and survival, criticized Congress’s dysfunction, and underscored the importance of supporting Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. In addition, during her brief speech, Haley added that “it is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond it, who did not support him…this is now his time for choosing.”
