Qatar defeated Iran on Wednesday 3-2 to reach of the Asian Cup finals.
It was Azmoun who got the Iranians off to a good beginning by opening the score very quickly (4′), but Abdulsallam (17′) and Afif (43′) allowed the Qataris to take advantage.
In the second half, Jahanbakhsh equalized from the penalty spot (51′), while Almoez Ali (82nd) finally qualified Qatar.
The Asian Cup final will put Qatar against Jordan, who beat South Korea (2-0) on Tuesday.
