The United States registered what seems to be the nation’s first death linked to the Omicron strain of COVID-19, ABC News reported.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the passing of “a man in his 50s,” who was not vaccinated against the disease and had a previous history of health issues, was recorded in Harris County, Texas.
