President of the Republic Kais Saied, Monday, had a meeting with President of the Provisional Supreme Council of the Judiciary, judge Moncef Kchaou.
Saied emphasized the key role of the judiciary during this critical period Tunisia is facing, particularly regarding the fight against corruption.
Saied underlined that justice is established to ensure fair trials rather than escaping them.
He expressed astonishment at a number of cases which takes years in courts without issuing any judgments.
Saied highlighted that nothing can be accomplished without reliable and fair justice.
