The Russian Ministry of Health confirmed on Thursday that two people were killed and another five injured in a school shooting in Bryansk.
All victims, one of whom is undergoing surgery, are teenagers, Assistant Minister of Health Alexey Kuznetsov told state news organizations.
Preliminary reports claimed that a 14-year-old girl brought a shotgun to school, which she used to fire at other students. The alleged perpetrator was said to have later committed suicide and is one of two people killed in the shooting.
