The official page of the Tunisian swimming federation revealed that the 3 swimmers Ayoub Hafnaoui, Ahmed Jaouadi and Toulan Ben Abdelfatteh will represent Tunisia at the world championships in Doha from February 2 to 18, 2024.
Hafnaoui, Olympic champion in the 400m NL and double title holder in the 800m and 1500m will have every opportunity of defending his titles earned in Japan in July 2023 and also tackling that of the 400m NL. He will swim the 400m on February 11, the 800m on February 13-14 and the 1500m on February 17-18, 2024.
As for Jaouadi (18 years and 9 months), he will be competing in the 400m NL after having completed the minimum A required by World Aquatics.
Finally, Toulan (17 years old), will be entered in the solo artistic swimming events on February 2 and 4. He was capable to appear in the top 16 in the world this season during the World Cup stages, and well deserved his world qualification, a first for Tunisian aquatic sports.
