15,209 Tunisians were recruited abroad as part of technical cooperation over the last five years (201-2023). Almost 30% of them were in the paramedical sector.
According to statistics posted on the website of the Tunisian Technical Cooperation Agency (ATCT), this figure nevertheless represents an increase of 43% in recruitments between 2019 (3,140 recruitments) and 2023 (4,510 recruitments).
Germany has been the leading destination for Tunisian skills over the last five years with 2,205 recruited. It is followed by Germany with 2040 executives recruited. The rest is distributed among the Arab Gulf and European countries.

- France: 2,075
- Saudi Arabia: 2,350
- Oman: 1,222
- United Arab Emirates: 789
- Qatar: 604
